How to Beat the Claw Machine

Since long ago, claw machines (인형뽑기) has been a very popular arcade game that you can play. They seemed more interesting and addictive because most of the time, you only wasted money and never really achieved getting the thing you wanted. Personally, I always went to the claw machine when I saw it, and ended up spending at least 10,000won (yes, yes I know, it's a waste of money) until I finally learnt the trick; and now, I only spend a little before getting the prize! A lot of people say it's luck — but I'd say it requires skill. So today, I'm going to be teaching you how to be good at claw machines.

• 01Always go for the ones that are not too close, but not too far from the hole — the machine is designed to let go of plushies that are too close to the hole.
• 02Don't press the button when ready to go down — wait until the claw drops by itself for better grip.
• 03Shake the claw in a round motion right before it goes down — If that doesn't really work out, take the claw far and pull it into the place you want to right before it drops.
